Robert G. White Jr1SG Robert G. White Jr was born in Sandusky, Ohio. He graduated from Sandusky High School and entered active federal service on 14 November 1984. He completed Combat Engineer One Station Unit Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri in March 1985. 1SG White's military and civilian education includes the Primary Leadership Development Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Drill Sergeant School, Equal Opportunity Representative Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Battle Staff Course, and the Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course. He has 51 Semester hours towards an Associate Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College.

His assignments include, 547th Engineer Battalion, Darmstadt Germany, 4th Engineer Battalion, 4th Infantry Division-Ft. Carson CO, 82nd Engineer Battalion, Bamberg Germany, 10th re-flagged the 9th Engineer Battalion, Schweinfurt Germany, 169th Engineer Battalion (OSUT) and the MANSCEN NCOA Drill Sergeant School Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, Drill Sergeant School Proponent, TRADOC Accessions Command Ft. Jackson, SC, 44th Engineer Battalion, Korea/Ft. Carson His deployments include: Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm-Saudi Arabia, Operation Able Sentry-Macedonia, Operation Recovery-Dubrovnik Croatia, Operation Joint Endeavor/Joint Guard Bosnia-Herzegovina and Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

He has held such responsible positions as, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, Drill Sergeant Leader, Senior Drill Sergeant Leader, Operations Sergeant, and First Sergeant.

1SG White has been married for 18 years to Mrs. Sabine P. White. He has one daughter Jessica, 17 and two sons, Justin 14 and Dominik 8. They currently reside in Columbia, SC.
