Steven KrehCPT Steven Kreh was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He was commissioned from West Point in 1999 as a 2LT in the Engineer Branch.

After completing the Engineer Officer Basic Course at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, his first duty station was Fort Carson, CO where he served as a Sapper Platoon Leader, an Assault and Obstacle Platoon Leader, and a Company Executive Officer in the 4th Engineer Battalion.

His next duty assignment was Fort Gordon, GA, where he served as a Company Executive Officer and S-1 for the 73d Ordinance Battalion.

After completing the Engineer Captain Career Course, he moved to Korea and became a member of the "Brokenheart" Battalion. He served as the Battalion Maintenance Officer for the 44th Engineer Battalion for 16 months. He is currently serving as Company Commander of Charlie Company 44th Engineer Battalion.

His awards include the ARCOM (1 OLC), JSAM, AAM, and the Sapper Tab.

He has been married to his wife, Angela, for four years.
