Jason M. SabatCPT Jason M. Sabat is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. CPT Sabat was commissioned into the Infantry branch from West Point in May 1997. After completing the Infantry Officers' Basic Course and Ranger School, he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft Bragg, NC. CPT Sabat served as a Rifle Platoon Leader and an Anti-Tank Platoon Leader for the 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He commanded an Advanced Individual Training company at Ft Jackson prior to coming to Korea. CPT Sabat served as the Battalion Logistics Officer prior to assuming command of Destroyer Company in June 2003. CPT Sabat departs Iraq for assignment at Barbers Point Naval Air Station where he will serve as a Reserve Component liaison.

CPT Sabat holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy and has earned the Ranger Tab, Air Assault, Master Parachutist, Military Freefall, and Combat Infantryman Badges. His awards include the Army Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
