This month all enlisted soldiers and NCOs in B/ 5-5 ADA have begun their quest for re class. Due to the current down sizing of the Air Defense Branch, soldiers are now looking toward the future of their military careers by choosing what MOS that they would want to go into once we return states side. We wish everyone luck in their decision making.

On 3 March 2005 the NCO Corps welcomed in two new additions from B/ 5-5 ADA. SPC Sabrina Lambert and SPC Benjamin Powell were both promoted to the rank of Sergeant (E-5). Congratulations to the two of them and their families on your induction into the corps of noncommissioned officers. We are sure that they are proud of this accomplishment.

This month Bushwhacker 5, aka 1LT (P) Timothy L. Sumter, will be celebrating his 25th Birthday. On the 19th of March 1LT (P) Sumter will become a quarter century old. Congratulations XO.

The thoughts and prayers of every soldier goes out to the families and friends of SGT Juan Arredondo and PFC Rex Jones. These two soldiers were injured down in Ramadi during a combat patrol mission. Both of the soldiers were wounded, but they are ok. We are thankful for their friendship, their service, and their safety. We are praying for a speedy recovery.
