The 506th has a relatively short military history, but it is marked by outstanding bravery, dedication, and accomplishment. This section is designed to provide some historical perspective into our Regiment, some background on our Area of Operations and the larger conflict we are a part of, and a summary of the history we have made in our latest deployment.
