Guard Post Collier
One of the responsibilities of the 1st Battalion, 506th, from April 1987 to September 1991
was to man the guard posts on the DMZ (including Guard Post Collier) during December
through February every year.



Shift Duty

The guard post duties were divided into 3 shifts: guard duty, various details, and rest.
The squads in a platoon would rotate shifts every twelve hours.
