The Ice Cream Cone
March 24: the Ice Cream Cone: photo taken at approximately 9:30 a.m.,
just before NVA contact. B Company dropped their rucks when they pulled
back to try to bring in artillery, but the site was too close to the road.



Military Police
Armored Military Police vehicle alongside Highway QL-9. Immediately
to the right rear of the photographer is the river and cave where nine NVA
were caught and where SFC Thomas C. Shepherd, Sr. was killed.
