| March 24: CH-47 Chinook flame drop on B
Company's original location near the Ice Cream Cone before the NVA sprung an ambush on a JP-4 Tanker Truck. The drop was necessary to attempt to destroy a mechanical ambush left in B Company's haste to move out to confront the NVA ambush. |

| April 4: Captured NVA Chinese radio from
a group of five NVA killed earlier in the morning. The NVA were a forward observer team heading back north with maps of all bases, sighting circles, and wads of money. |
