Griffith (Company Commander, HHC, 2nd BN, 506th) had just painted this Currahee Shield Insignia outside the Mess Hall at FOB Falcon during the 2-506th deployment to Iraq, 2005-2006. Another Shield is painted at the LZ. The 2-506th Currahees figured that everyone had to eat or fly in, and they wanted all to know who had been there. |
