Churchill Tells . . .

A jump demonstration was put on by the 2nd BN, 506th PIR; 3rd BN, 506th PIR; and
HQ, REGT, 506th PIR at Berks, England on March 23, 1944. The 1st BN, 506th PIR
was chosen to be the inspection troops. After the equipment inspection, British Prime
Minister Winston Churchill called the 1st BN Currahee troopers to gather around him,
and gave the following speech.
