The 506th Association has established a Widows and Orphans Fund to provide financial assistance
to widows, widowers, spouses and children of Currahees killed, missing, or wounded in action.

NOTE: The IRS has recognized the 506th Association as a War Veterans Organization under section
501(c)(19), so donors making contributions to the Association can deduct such donations on their per-
sonal or corporate tax filings, as provided for by IRS rules and regulations. The Association is listed in
IRS Publication 78, Cumulative List of Organizations described in Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue
Code of 1986, the list of organizations eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. For exemption/
deduction purposes, the Association Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 91-2088108.
